A little about me:
I’m 29 and female. I grew up in Virginia, USA. I went to college and graduate school for Classics, both on the East Coast. I’m still writing my PhD dissertation. I’ve been going back and forth between the United States and Greece since 1999, for as little as a week and as long as a year – for a total of about 2.5 years spent in Greece over the last ten years. I’ve been living, with an intent to stay permanently, in Greece since the end of June, 2009. I’m married to a wonderful man from Alexandroupolis, a city in far northeastern Greece. We live on a small island in the Cyclades (pictured at the top of the page), which I’m sure I’ll talk about a lot in here.
How I got here, what it’s like to live here, and all the rest, is the main point of this blog, along with some photos sprinkled in for fun.
